Born in South Korea, Beob Gyun Kim received a B.S. degree with honors in 2000 and a M.S. degree in 2002 from Seoul National University. He continued his education in Animal Nutrition at the University of Kentucky, and received a Ph.D. degree in 2007. He then worked as a postdoctoral research associate under the supervision of Dr. Hans H. Stein. During his graduate studies, he conducted various swine nutrition experiments regarding trace minerals, enzyme additives, amino acids, and novel feed ingredients. He has also developed several programs based on spreadsheet for animal nutrition studies and genomic data handlings. Dr. Kim now works as a professor in the Department of Animal Science and Environment at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea.
