Caroline González-Vega is from Colombia. She earned her BS from the National University of Colombia in 2010. While working on her BS, she came to our lab as a visiting scholar. After graduating, she returned and earned her M.S. in 2012, and her Ph. D. in 2016 and worked on calcium digestibility and  STTD calcium requirements for weanling and growing pigs during her masters and Ph.D.

In 2016, she joined Evonik Industries and worked as Technical Service Manager (regional position) for 2 years, and in 2018 she started to work as a Swine Research Manager (global position) for Evonik. In 2021, Caroline started working in Cargill US as a Pork Innovation Specialist.

She is very thankful for all the support through the years, thankful with God, her family, Dr. Stein, Stein Lab members, colleagues, and friends.
