After three years of professional experience in commercial pig farm, I pursue a master’s degree in Animal Production and Health Science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), under the guidance of Dr. Cuarón and Dr. Pérez.

Upon completion of my graduate studies, I joined CARGILL, where I worked for approximately four years under the supervision of Dr. Rojo at a commercial farm in northern Mexico that had been adapted for research purposes. My professional trajectory has been guided by improving my research methodology, pursue continuous learning and contribute to advancing research in Mexico.

I am truly grateful and honored to join Dr. Stein’s Laboratory at the University of Illinois, where I will further develop my expertise and passion for animal science research.
