Dr. Tjardes was a postdoc in the Stein lab from 2002-2003. From 2004 to 2010, she was the Director of Nutrition (USA) at Standard Nutrition Services, Omaha, Nebraska. After taking some time off to be with her family, she returned to Standard Nutrition as a swine nutritionist from 2013 to 2015.
