Natalia Fanelli

My name is Natalia S. Fanelli. I am from Brazil and I grew up in a small city called Taquaritinga located in the state of Sao Paulo. I got my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2018 from Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, UNESP, Jaboticabal city Campus and I always have worked with swine.

In the spring of 2017, I got a scholarship from The Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) that allowed me to work in Stein Laboratory in order to obtain knowledge to enrich my research in Brazil. I worked here conducting an experiment about digestibility of energy in heat treated full fat soybeans for two months.

I came back to the Stein Lab in summer of 2018 to do the final internship in order to get my bachelor’s degree and in 2019 I am back to work as a researcher scholar and I hope to contribute for his lab and learn as much as I can. I really appreciate that he gave me this opportunity, it's always a pleasure working with his team.
