Sara Gonzalez is from Panama, better known as the “bridge of the world and heart of the universe.” She earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Latina University of Panama and a master’s degree in Higher Education from ISAE University in Panama.

As a Medical Technologist, Sara has more than five years of professional experience working in Panama’s private and public healthcare system. She has experience with laboratory methodologies and techniques, as well as clinical laboratory procedures. Through her work, she contributes to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control of diseases and supports the delivery of healthcare services to the community.

Sara will be joining Dr. Stein’s laboratory, where she will support the laboratory team and contribute to ongoing research activities. She looks forward to applying her professional experience, learning new techniques, and supporting the members of the Dr. Stein Lab.
