My name is Yeonwoo Kim and I was raised in North Carolina since I was nine. Ever since I was little, I always wanted to become a Vet. Therefore, I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign to follow my dream. As a freshman in college, I worked at Monogastric Nutrition Laboratory and Swine Research Center where I met Dr. Hans Stein and his students. Working at the laboratory for four years, I realized that I should continue my love of animals at the Monogastric Nutrition Laboratory. I want to thank my family for allowing me to study in the US and would also like to thank Dr. Stein for this opportunity to allow me to pursue my dream.
