Natalia Fanelli successfully defended her PhD dissertation in April 7. She gave a seminar discussing her research investigating selected proteins from the salmon, seaweed, and egg industries as potential amino acid sources for pigs, humans, or dogs. She then had a chance to defend her dissertation in front of her committee. Soon-to-be Dr. Fanelli is looking for a job in the food or feed industry or in regulatory agencies.

In April 9, Jimena Ibagon successfully defended her PhD dissertation about the use of soybean meal in diets for pigs.
