Personnel changes

Two new visiting scholars, Natalia Fanelli and Diego Lopez, to our lab this month. Natalia is a student at Unesp Jaboticabal (FCAV) in Brazil. She will be working on a short project for two months. Diego is from Bogotá, and is a student at the National University of Colombia.

Carly Rundle started a five year PhD program with the Division of Nutritional Science. She will be focusing on the effect of alkaloids as feed additives on growth performance and gut health in pigs.

Travel

Dr. Stein, Natalia, Cristhiam, and John attended the Illinois Pork Expo on January 30-February 1 in Springfield.

Charmaine and Diego Navarro traveled to Atlanta to attend the International Production and Processing Expo/International Poultry Expo (Jan 30-Feb 2).
