Lab activities

Oscar started an experiment on the effects of using PepSoyGen in phase 1 and phase 2 diets fed to weanling pigs.
Ferdinando started an experiment on heat damage in DDGS, and another on amino acid digestibility in camelina meal and seed.

Travels

Dr. Stein traveled to Phoenix to give a presentation on alternative feed ingredients at the American Association of Swine Veterinarians 42nd Annual Meeting.

Dr. Stein, Dr. Sulabo, Sarah, Ferdinando, Oscar, Jung, Sarah, and Caroline presented abstracts at the the 2011 ADSA-ASAS Midwest Sectional Meeting in Des Moines, Iowa on March 14-16.
