Lab activities

Kate finished an experiment on phosphorus digestibility in canola meal, and started an experiment on the effects of two enzyme products on amino acid digestibility.

Ferdinando started an experiment to evaluate the effects of heat damaging sunflower meal on its amino acid digestibility.

Travels

Dr. Stein was in Minnesota on March 28 to give a talk at the Professional Swine Conference organized by Forma Feed. The talk was titled, "Use of DDGS and corn co-products in diets fed to pigs".

Dr. Stein, Dr. Song, Ferdinando, Oscar, Diego, Caroline, Jin, Neil, John, and Jessica traveled to the 2012 ADSA-ASAS Midwest Sectional Meeting in Des Moines, Iowa on March 19-21.
