My name is Bella Stephania Ramírez Hernández, and I am from Guatemala. I am a visiting student from EARTH University in Costa Rica, where I completed my third year of a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. I am currently participating in an academic internship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on monogastric nutrition.

This experience provides me with a valuable opportunity to strengthen my academic knowledge, gain practical experience, and learn from researchers and professionals in the field of animal nutrition. Through this internship, I hope to expand my skills, explore new perspectives in agricultural research and production, and continue growing both academically and professionally as I prepare for my future career in agriculture.

I am especially grateful to Dr. Stein for giving me the opportunity to be part of this experience and for allowing me to learn and grow in the field of monogastric nutrition.
