Dr. Stein, John, and Jerubella attended the Chinese Swine Industry Symposium in Shanghai on October 20-21. Dr. Stein gave two presentations: "Evaluation of various physical, chemical and biological treatments on nutritive value of feedstuffs commonly used in pig feeds," and "Use of feed additives in diets for pigs." John gave a presentation on "Effects of fiber on the optimum threonine:lysine ratio for 25 to 50 kg growing gilts," (below left) and Jerubella presented a poster. They also met with Stein lab alum Neil Jaworski (below right), who attended the event as part of his current job with Trouw Nutrition.
