December 2023 Lab News

Achievements

Jessica Acosta and Andrea Mallea from our team gave presentations at the Spanish Feed Industry (FEDNA) meeting in Madrid. They also participated in a competition for young investigators. Jessica was the winnner of the competition and Andrea placed number three.

Personnel changes

Four people left our team. But they are all moving on in their careers and going in different directions. Juan Carlos has been with us for 2.5 years and will now continue his career as a MS student in poultry science. Kiara will focus on studying English and Ana will return to Brazil and finalize her veterinary degree. Caleb will continue his career as a PhD student in Poultry Science at Norh Carolina State University. Thank you to all of you for your contributions to our team. It is greatly appreciated. We wish you the best of luck in your future careers and please stay in touch.
