October 2024 Lab News

Achievements

Fall arrive to our team.

New Experiments

Diego Rodriguez and the farm crew started 4 new experiments about: "Effects of replacing corn with hybrid rye in diets on greenhouse gas emissions from growing pigs", "Efficacy of Micro2b Relative to Market Leading Bacillus Products in Nursery Pigs Fed Supplemental Copper and Zinc Diets", "Evaluation of efficacy of xylanase and beta-glucanase combination on energy digestibility in growing pigs", and the "Effects of fat emulsifier in diets containing choice white grease or soybean oil fed to growing pigs". Diego Guerrero started a trial about "Effects of source of calcium carbonate on standardized total tract digestibility (STTD) of calcium".

Conferences

On October 22, Doctor Stein gave a conferences at Standard Nutrition, Omaha, NE, about the "Impact on net energy of using soybean meal or crystalline amino acids".
