Dr. Stein gave conferences in:

  • September 1 - 2, in Arkansas Nutr. Conf. Rogers, AR. about heat damage, Maillard reactions, and measurement of reactive lysine in feed ingredients and diets.
  • September 13, he gave a talk in Cargill Europe, Rennes France, about use of phytase in diets for pigs.
  • September 14, in Altilis, Rennes, France, Dr. Stein gave a talk about interactions between calcium, phosphorus, and phytase.
  • September 16, in Danisco Iberico, Madrid, Spain, he talked about use of exogenous enzymes in diets for pigs.
  • September 22, Minnesota Nutrition Conference. Mankato, MN. Dr. Stein gave a talk about how carbohydrases may increase energy utilization in diets fed to pigs.
  • September 27, talk in FEDNA and USSEC Europe, Madrid, Spain, about mineral nutrition in diets for young pigs.
